Spinach, My Favourite // Moja najljubša, špinača

I was a vegetarian. I'm not a veggie anymore. Vegetables are still my favourite, among them, spinach is the best. I'm no Popeye, but gimme a plate full of spinach and some mashed potatoes and I'm a happy bunny indeed.
It should come to you as no surprise that I have a frozen bag with spinach just in case.
Ingredients:
- fresh spinach, as much as you want, a big bag is for two people as most of it is stalks
- 3 cloves of garlic (I like it garlicy)
- 2 spoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 2 spoons of a greek style yogurt or sour cream
- salt
The how-to:
Cut the stalks off, keep only nice leaves. Wash the leaves.
a) to eat now
Put a big pan on high heat, before you pour the olive oil into it, lower the heat. Squash the garlic and put it into the pan, until its ends get slightly brown. Then put all of the spinach in the pan, put the lid on and wait for it to lose its volume. There will be excess water, pour it away. After 5 minutes it should be cooked, put it away from the heat. Blend it into a smooth texture, add salt and yogurt or sour cream.
b) to freeze
Over high heat steam the spinach leaves, wait for the spinach to cool down and the put it into a bag and in the freezer. When you want to use it, follow the a) part of the recipe.

Bila sem vegetarijanka, a po resnici povedano nisem več. Vseeno imam zelenjavo zelo rada in od nje najraje špinačo. Nisem Popaj ampak špinača in pire na krožniku - to zmaga.
Vrečko zmrznjene špinače imam v zmrzovalniku, sej veste, za vsak slučaj.
Kaj potrebujemo?
- sveža špinača, velika vrečka je za dve osebi, večino je namreč stebel
- 3 stroke česna (meni je všeč, če je jed začesnjena)
- 2 žlici grškega jogurta ali kisle smetane
- 2 žlici ekstra deviškega olivnega olja
- sol
Kako jo pripravimo?
Odrežite liste vstran in zavržite stebla. Operite jih.
a) za kosilo sedaj
Velika posoda gre na plin, preden damo vanjo olje, plin znižamo. Stisnemo česen, ga damo v posodo toliko časa, da robi porjavijo. V posodo damo vso špinačo, pokrijemo, počakamo, saj se sesede. Odvečno vodo odlijemo. Čez približno pet minut je skuhana, lahko jo odmaknemo z ognja. S paličnim mešalnikom zmešamo, dodamo sol in jogurt oz. smetano.
b) za zmrzniti
